International Festival of Old Dances - PAWANA

PAWANA festival
is the second largest event of this kind in Poland and the only old dances contest of amateur groups in Europe. Its aim is to promote the cultural heritage through old dances and reconstructions of 15th and 16th century customs.

The festival will feature masters of dance from all over Europe. Among others dance presentations will include: bataglia, bassadance, chiaranza and volta.

18.00 Renaissance ball

5 July
15.00-17.00 Performances of old dances groups
Venue: Arsenal Miejski, ul. Cieszynskiego 9, Wroclaw

18.00 Concerts of Serenissima Wratislavia (Renaissance dances) and Dekameron (Renaissance music)
Venue:  Marii Magdaleny Church, ul. Szewska, Wroclaw
